Seville Holy Week posters, year by year: where to see them and what is still undocumented
Every year there is an official Seville Holy Week poster, and the City Council keeps earlier ones in a public archive. This guide looks at the whole series, not just the current edition, and sets out the dates the sources never quite reconcile.
Seville City Council keeps a page with the official Holy Week posters of 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019. It is an annual institutional tradition, commissioned each time from a different painter by the General Council of Brotherhoods and Confraternities.

Where can you see the full poster archive?
The City Council's official page ("Carteles Semana Santa de Sevilla") covers the series from 2019 to the current edition. It is the most complete source found, although it does not always give the exact unveiling date of each poster.
Specialist sites such as Documentación Cofrade and Taberna Cofrade add to that archive with profiles of artists and styles, but neither offers, in the documents consulted, a consistent chronology with date, source and year of publication for each edition. All of them are in Spanish.
Which unveiling dates are confirmed?
The best documented are the most recent. The 2025 poster was unveiled on 31 March 2025, at the Fundación Caja Rural del Sur. The 2026 one, by Antoine Cas, was unveiled on Monday 2 February 2026 at 20:00, in the auditorium of the Fundación Caja Rural del Sur.
A first article about the 2026 edition was published on 1 December 2025 on Semana-santa.org, before the artist's name was known. That is not an unveiling date but the first notice that there would be a poster: the two dates are best kept apart, something the sources themselves do not always do clearly.

Those for 2024 and 2023. The 2024 poster, by Salustiano García, and the 2023 one, by Daniel Franca, appear in the municipal archive and on specialist sites, but none of the sources consulted gives their exact unveiling date as precisely as for 2025 and 2026.
This is a real gap, not an oversight on this guide's part: brotherhood sites document the image and the reception of a poster better than its formal unveiling in years before the current one.
What figures exist on print runs, prices or distribution?
Very few, and only for some years. The 2023 poster cost €2 and the 2024 one had a print run of 5,000 copies, according to El Correo de Andalucía. For 2025 and 2026 none of the sources consulted publishes a print run or a price, and no official online sale is documented for any year.

The poster is unveiled in February, and the guides agree that by February it is already getting late to book the centre for Holy Week. If seeing the poster makes you decide to go, check availability that same day.
